phallyx Remember that muscles grow during periods of rest, if you are trying to build muscle. So, try limiting your weight training to 2 or 3 days per week with a day of rest in between. On the off days, you could concentrate on doing cardio exercises to give the muscles a break. Genetics are one of the most important factors in building muscle mass. There is not much you can change about your interior genetics that shape your body, but you can improve the way you look by becoming more tone. Some of us just do not have the bodies that will have large muscles, so accept that and strive for better tone. A great way to build muscle is to pay close attention to nutrition, and eat a good amount of protein and carbohydrates. By eating every two hours, and ensuring you get no less than 1.5 grams of protein for each pound of your own weight and no less than 2 grams of carbohydrates per pound. You will have the nutritional tools necessary to build muscle. Train by completing as many reps and exercises as possible during each session. You should include a minimum of 15 lifts with breaks that are no longer than one minute. This keeps your lactic acid moving, and your muscles building. Increase the weight without decreasing reps to maximize muscle growth. Spread your workouts out so that you are only lifting weights every other day. Spend one day working out your entire body, and then use the next day to rest. Your muscles will grow while you rest, not while you are working out. Even though it might feel like you are doing nothing on your days off, your body is still working hard. Eat plenty of protein when you are on a muscle-building regimen. Be sure to eat whole proteins with every meal. A good rule to follow is to ingest one gram of protein for each pound of body weight. Good sources of low-fat protein include fish, low-fat milk and lean red meats. If you are attempting to add some muscle to your body, you should ensure you're consuming an adequate amount of protein.
