CALGARY -- Bo Levi Mitchells 15-yard touchdown pass to Marquay McDaniel late in the fourth quarter lifted the Calgary Stampeders to a 26-22 win over the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on Friday. Shane Vereen Jersey . Tiger-Cat quarterback Henry Burris achieved a career 50,000 passing yards, joining Anthony Calvillo, Damon Allen, Danny McManus and Ron Lancaster in that club. But the Stampeders (9-2) didnt let their former quarterback have all the glory and came from behind to stay unbeaten at McMahon Stadium this season. Calgary extended its regular-season winning streak at home to nine straight games. Mitchell connected with McDaniel at 13:42 of the fourth quarter and also threw a touchdown catch to Maurice Price in front of an announced 26,649. Rene Paredes made all four field goals he attempted, making him 9 for 9 in his last two games. With 72 rushing yards, running back Jon Cornish surpassed 1,000 for a second straight season. Burris earned the majority of his career yards while a Stampeder. The 38-year-old was Calgarys quarterback for nine seasons, including seven as a starter, until he was traded to Hamilton in January 2012. Burris also spent three seasons with the Saskatchewan Roughriders. He was 26 for 39 in passing for 408 yards and a pair of touchdown passes with two interceptions. With the more veteran Kevin Glenn and Drew Tate sidelined with injuries, the 23-year-old Mitchell continued to show he can be a starting quarterback in the CFL. Mitchell was 20 for 30 in passing for 252 yards and two touchdown throws. With his team leading 22-19 with just over three minutes remaining, Hamilton kicker Luca Congis 37-yard attempt hit an upright. Congi was 0 for 2 in the game. Paredes pulled Calgary within three points to start the fourth quarter on a 24-yard field goal. The drive started with Rob Maver faking the punt and throwing the ball to Matt Walter to keep the Stampeders on the march. Paredes was good from 43 yards at 10:27 of the third after Gables four-yard rushing TD for Hamilton at 6:57. Burris reached CFL quarterback elite status with a six-yard touchdown throw to Onrea Jones at 14:37 of the second quarter, which gave the Ticats a 15-13 lead heading into the second half. Calgary led 13-8 at 5:41 on Mitchells 80-yard touchdown throw to Price. Stampeder head coach John Hufnagel had admonished Price in a previous game for slowing down to celebrate before the end zone, so Price cheekily ran the ball to Calgarys dressing room door. Calgary mustered just one field goal in the first half off a pair of long returns for 173 yards by Larry Taylor. He ran a punt back 70 yards to open the second quarter, but Calgary couldnt punch the ball in from the 10. McDaniel dropped a Mitchell pass and then Calgary quarterback fumbled and turned over the ball over. Paredes made his second of a pair of first-quarter field goals from 29 yards at 13:52 after Hamiltons Josh Bartel 69-yard punt single at 8:47. Congi was wide on a 47-yard attempt in the first quarter and Taylor race the ball 103 yards back to Hamiltons 17-yard-line. The Stamps settled for a 15-yard field goal at 6:32. A spectacular one-handed catch by Fantuz capped a 79-yard, four play scoring drive on the visitors first possession off the kickoff. The Stampeders host the Toronto Argonauts and the Tiger-Cats are in Moncton, N.B., versus Montreal for the Atlantic Bowl next Saturday. Mark Bavaro Jersey . The Jets have now won three straight at home and four of the last five at the MTS Centre. After a scoreless first period, Brad Marchand scored his first goal in eight games eight seconds into the second. Davis Webb Jersey . Dragic was a game-time decision because of a sore right ankle that had kept him out of Wednesdays loss at Utah, but played all but the last 10 seconds of the second half in the first 40-point game for a Phoenix player since Amare Stoudemires 44 on March 19, 2010. http://www.giantsauthenticshop.com/Youth-Eli-Manning-Giants-Jersey/ .com Tour title, closing with a 6-under 64 for a four-stroke victory. The 22-year-old former North Texas player finished at 12-under 268 at Panama Golf Club and earned $112,500 to jump from seventh to second on the money list with $171,500.BOSTON -- The Boston Bruins forechecked aggressively, cleared the puck easily and dominated the Washington Capitals. Tuukka Rask got the 22nd shutout of his career -- probably one of the easiest -- Gregory Campbell and Loui Eriksson scored second-period goals and the Bruins shut down the Capitals 3-0 on Thursday night. "We did a great job of getting on them quickly and not giving them opportunities to make too many plays," Bruins coach Claude Julien said. For the second straight night, the Capitals managed just eight shots in the first two periods, not the kind of offence they need as they try to move into the final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. So where do they go after being outshot 43-16 by the Bruins? "Up. You cant get much lower than that, I guess," Capitals defenceman Karl Alzner said. "The killer instinct isnt there right now and it needs to be there because we are running out of time." Washington is one point out of the eighth playoff spot with 18 games left. Boston finished the scoring on Brad Marchands empty-net goal with 1:34 left and moved one point behind Eastern Conference-leading Pittsburgh, which played at San Jose. Rasks NHL-leading sixth shutout of the season came just five days after the Capitals beat him 4-2, also in Boston. But since then Washington is 0-3 and Boston is 3-0. Rask was 0-3-3 against the Capitals in his career, but was rarely challenged on Thursday. Boston didnt even have to worry about Washingtons power play, the second best in the NHL. No penalties were called in the game. "Youre kind of afraid of those guys when they get a power play because theyve got so much firepower and they are so disciplined," Rask said. Capitals goalie Braden Holtby played well but suffered his first loss against the Bruins after winning the first four matchups of his career. "It was frustrating, but its no more frustrating to me than it is to the other guys in the room," Holtby said. "A goalie cant rely on offence. You have no control over that. You control your game and what you can contribute to the team. Justin Pugh Jersey. " Washington has lost all its games since beating Boston on Saturday for its fourth straight win. It lost to Philadelphia twice, 5-4 in overtime then 6-4 on Wednesday night, before getting blanked by Boston. "We talked about that before the game, how theyre probably going to be a little tired and we need to take advantage of that," Bruins defenceman Matt Bartkowski said. "I think we did a good job of it." Campbell gave the Bruins a 1-0 lead at 3:05 of the second period when he tipped in Patrice Bergerons shot. Bergeron fired the puck from the top of the left circle and Campbell, standing just to the right of Holtby, deflected it in for his seventh goal of the season and fourth in four games. Eriksson got his seventh at 8:20 after missing one game with an infected heel that he said he sustained at the Winter Olympics in Russia where he played for Sweden. Carl Soderberg passed the puck from behind the net to Eriksson, whose short shot from the left side beat Holtby. That was more than enough for the Bruins, who gave the Capitals little room to operate. "They played last night," Julien said. "It was important for us to get on them physically and make them throw pucks away and guys did a great job." Alex Ovechkin, who leads the NHL with 44 goals, had just one shot after scoring two power-play goals on nine shots in Washingtons win in Boston last Saturday. The Capitals took 31 shots in that game, while Holtby stopped 36 of the Bruins 38 shots. NOTES: Washington D Cameron Schilling played after being recalled from Hershey of the AHL on Wednesday. ...
